I am Carter, an experimental physicist focusing on atomic, molecular, and optical (AMO) physics (a field that I would describe succinctly as using precise control of atoms to explore physical phenomena, often quantum mechanics). I am currently a graduate student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

I am best contacted through email.

From fall of 2017 through spring of 2021, Carter studied physics and applied mathematics as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley. There, I worked in the Müller group on phase contrast electron microscopy with lasers.
